The bodyweight squat is used for many functions including injury rehabilitation, range of motion assessment and performance enhancement. About the Human Performance Lab. The Human Performance Laboratory, located within Gampel Pavilion, occupies a total space of over 7,800 sq ft. and consists of a number of different laboratory areas dedicated to specific technologies including systems physiology, exercise biochemistry, nutritional research, endocrine function, molecular and cellular signaling, body composition, brachial artery reactivity, ultrasound imaging, and strength/power testing.
