Quick weekend trips are my favorite as long as I can manage to finish my homework and housework before we leave. Here are a few pictures from our recent travels:. SAVANNAH (4th of July weekend). Saturday, January 24, 2009. I cannot believe that Jacob is 5 years old. It seems like just yesterday he was a cuddly little baby! We had a great birthday part for him at Monkey Joe's and a bunch of his friends from school came. After his party he said "Am I 5 now Mom? I told him not yet. So, on his actual birthday he looked up at me and said "I am 5 now, aren't I? Of course all day long everything was better for Jacob because he was 5! Jacob and all of his friends! Abby's face plant on one of the slides!

Tuesday, August 04, 2009. First Day of School. Mr Jacob ready for his first day of Kindergarten. I had a tough morning because he is not as aware of his food allergies as Abby is. the school nurse helped me feel a little bit better. He was so excited to finally get to go to Big Kid school. They had an open house last night and we got to meet their teachers. Abby liked showing Jacob the ropes. Abby and Jacob ready to go! Blake it is hard to imagine he is now a Junior! Saturday, February 28, 2009. It Has Been A While. We've all been a bit under the weather for the last few weeks or so. Abby had her follow-up pulmonolgy appointment and her chloride-sweat test (to rule out cystic fibrosis. which was negative). She is doing great and her medicines are improving her asthma and also helping her sleep through the night! Jacob is doing well, too! Blake is great, too! Dylan, Abby and Silly Jacob! Friday, December 18, 2009. Both Blake and Dylan were in plays in the fall. Dylan's was "The Mikado." Steve, the kids and I went up for Dyl's play. We loved seeing Dyl in this comedy. Here is Blake and the cast of his play "The Anatomy of Grey." One of my best friends, Nikki, was able to come see the show. so that was extra special for me.
