All worth it though, because the following day, it rained. And rained. And rained some more. Did I mention that it rained? Hello, family neighborhood! Words, experiences, life. The house of hurt. So, we have this cat named Rina – short for Sabrina. We found her at our old apartment complex, a stray cat who happened upon our porch. We think her mother was a black and white cat we had been feeding. One day, Bryan discovers her – we both wonder, what is this little bundle? There Rina was, dark fur and all, rolled up into a ball. I remember she was such so small. So whiny. So scared. Not a good history. I’m very thankful for our cat. Bursting. →.

After several months of running, I did my 5th 5k race and met my goal of running 3 miles within 30 minutes and then some. For 31 miles (including starting at the back of the pack, dodging tons of people AND walking roughly a minute through some painful hills), I finished the race in 29 minutes and 36 seconds!
