My wife reads good stuff, too – The Blog Prophet

Blogging since June 2006. My wife reads good stuff, too. November 28, 2014. November 28, 2014. My wife wanted me to read this chapter because it made her think of me because it’s about a preacher who decides to be a counselor. One significant quote that most preachers can relate to:. 8220;How many religious leaders go into ministry with the idea that they’re going to be really great administrators? 8221; -Rick Rittmaster. He had gone through depression and burnout as a preacher. I like that statement.

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. – Gal. 5:13, NIV. Reflecting Christ →. September 23, 2010. I’ve been inspired. Well, “inspired” may be a strong word. Let’s go with “moved” instead. Whatever you want to call it, here I am with a blog. Which, if my memory and math serves correctly, will be attempt number four at this type of thing. Serve one another. (NASB). May God bless and guide our study of His word.

Blogging since June 2006. Sweet Recent Tweets O’ Mine. September 29, 2014. May 23, 2015. Had cereal and cheese danish for dinner. Because I care about my body. Mainly the mouth/tongue/stomache part of my body. Going up to a stranger who has an eye-patch and speaking “pirate” is apparently not “appropriate”. Had a Dr Pepper infused coffee yesterday. Let’s just say next time I would prefer them sequentially instead of concurrently. Confession: I was totally thinking about my. I may become pro-terrorists.

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. – Gal. 5:13, NIV. Who is Jesus talking about? September 23, 2010. A lot of people and events have touched me in recent weeks, most of which has been unknown to those who have done the touching. The above video is one of those events. I am lucky enough to have known Chris Gallagher. When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? Well, ...

If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me. Thursday, February 24, 2011. Give it Away, Give it Away, Give it Away Now. Sacrifice. I think it's fair to say, thats a word that most of us don't like to hear. According to Webster's dictionary sacrifice means, "to give up something of value for something else.". The first reason why I believe Jesus is the Good Shepherd is because of His Sacrifice. Vss 11-13). What kind of sacrifice did Jesus make? Travel...

How Much Love? | handsandfeet
https://newheights.wordpress.com/2011/08/12/how-much-love
What happens when you live to be the kingdom of God. August 12, 2011. When I tell the kids to eat their vegetables they always ask how much. They want to know what size a serving is and often times they try their best to eat as little as possible. Kind of reminds me of the story about the Good Samaritan. The expert of the law came to Jesus and wanted to know what a follower of God was about. Like my kids with vegetables, who are you talking about? Can you give me a short list? People on my street?
