Just so you know me. I've always liked the idea of key encrypted ( GPG. Messages and signatures. It seems like a smart way to ensure you are who you say you are. My hangup for why I never really used it was because there was no easy repository you could search to identify who was who. That's changed now thanks to Keybase.io. They are the directory for key validation. Browser crypto can be scary. Do you have an evil extension installed? Hopefully you're not that important. Find me at Keybase.io.

A couple cool maps. There's a couple web maps out there that I like to show off when people ask me what web GIS can do, and what it looks like. One of them has always been Hint.fm's Wind Map. Anger, Spreadsheets and Databases oh my. Today I found myself banging my head against my desk with fiery rage. Every piece of software I was trying to use today was giving me no ends of headaches. From ArcGIS's improper label placing to PGAdmin's poor CSV import error reporting. I then found myself having to deal with a massive Excel file in order to manipulate survey results so they could be tied to a point location within ArcGIS. This truly put me over the edge. So, I have a problem. I really would like not to to be able to get over it but it seems to be incredibly difficult for me. I want to write. But, I just can't seem to get over the static friction that it takes to pass it. What's my first post going to be about? Where'd I go. Like I said earlier, I'm not the best at keeping up with these things and I'm pretty certain no one is reading it. But, life is great. I've moved into a new house and have myself a great roommate. Vacation is here for a week, and then jury duty for maybe another week.
