Comrade Conjuror: November 2005
http://comradeconjuror.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Thoughts on products, performance, and doublethink in the magic community. Thursday, November 24, 2005. Friendly Public Service Announcement. Posting has been slow (i.e. nonexistent) lately. I hope to be posting more often from now on. The posts will be shorter and have a little more to do with the magic community, since I haven't been performing as much here. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Posted by Nate at 1:15 PM. View my complete profile. Someone Jumps Ship, Another Gets Onboard. The Girl on the Bus.

Comrade Conjuror: August 2005
http://comradeconjuror.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Thoughts on products, performance, and doublethink in the magic community. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. The joint SAM/IBM convention is planned for 2008 in New Orleans. I can't help but wonder if there will be a change of plans, owings to the devastating hurricane. Someone involved in planning told me that they already signed contracts with the hotel. But is the hotel even there anymore? Given the situation, it's a rather minor concern, but I couldn't help but wonder. Posted by Nate at 11:06 PM. Before I ...

High on Magic: February 2006
http://highonmagic.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 22. Homosexuality and Female Magicians. Everyone seems to have strong opinions on homosexuality whether you're for or against. I have nothing against gay people (I, however, personally walk the straight line), but I can't help wonder why they have to be so "gay" about it - you always see gay people running around being all proud, having parades, and wearing rainbows and other such nonsense. Do I go running around yelling "I'm straight! I don't think so. They were great too! Men have a...

Thoughts on products, performance, and doublethink in the magic community. Saturday, December 03, 2005. Someone Jumps Ship, Another Gets Onboard. Penguin has had a bad reputation for a while. Still, it took years until someone with Sankey's clout started making accusations. Eloquently put it. Sankey left no doubts about how badly Penguin screws its partners (and customers) over. And any association with Penguin damages a creator's reputation in the magic community. He's got his own store on the site.

Magic Mafia v3.0: June 2005
http://magicmafia.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Magic Mafia v3.0. Thursday, June 30, 2005. Pagliacci is one of my favorite blogs to read. Just my kinda' humor and in-your-face truth telling the magic community needs to hear, whether they like it or not. So, in his tradition of "Crappy" tag lines:. A brand spanking new restaurant in the Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung seats diners on toilets rather than ordinary chairs. "YOU EAT, YOU GO! The actual meals at The Martun ("toilet" in Chinese) are presented in toilet bowls of both Western and Asian styles.

Thoughts on products, performance, and doublethink in the magic community. Tuesday, June 28, 2005. Has decided to call it quits. It's a shame, his blog was brutally honest and always always enjoyable to read. Fortunately, I managed to mirror the entire site before it went down. Interestingly enough, the program I used also mirrored every site that was on Whackster's blogroll. A piece of magic blogging history, I guess. Posted by Nate at 12:02 PM. Sunday, June 26, 2005. Comrade Conjuror: July 2005
http://comradeconjuror.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Thoughts on products, performance, and doublethink in the magic community. Saturday, July 30, 2005. Lately, as soon as I've mentioned magic or started performing, nearly everybody has asked me about Criss Angel. Do you know how he does his levitation? What do you think of him? Have you seen the show? I'm impressed that Angel has captured the public's interest not only in his show, but in magic in general. People never asked me questions about T.H.E.M. or Mondo Magic. Posted by Nate at 11:09 PM. After som...

I assure you, however, that the Magic Mafia will get the last laugh. Posted by MagicMafia at 1:54 AM. View my complete profile. Magic, Illusion and Data Management. Lee Asher VS. Magic Makers.

Magic Mafia v3.0: September 2005
http://magicmafia.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Magic Mafia v3.0. Thursday, September 29, 2005. Mindfreak, Episode 10. How do you suppose Criss Angel was able to scale the side of a building? Do you think he was accidentally bitten by a genetically altered spider? The soda can trick was pretty nifty, but Jesus Christ, if there wasn't a worse bunch of stooges for the Walking Thru Glass bit. What are your thoughts? Posted by MagicMafia at 12:17 AM.
