Using Nik HDR Efex Pro. Using Nik HDR Efex Pro. Quite a few people have asked why I am using Nik HDR Efex Pro. The simple answer is that I think it is much cleaner and needs much less masking work done in Photoshop. I also feel that it gives a much realistic final image. Please do not get me wrong, Photomatix is great but it does not serve my purpose as well. The video below shows a quick run through of my workflow using HDR Efex. It is an amazing set of tools that these professional guys use. What got me hooked was the work of Calvin Hollywood and Natalia Taffarel. I am now watching the DVD produced by the latter.
