Thursday, July 11, 2013. Driving, biking and Friends. Yuko has finally figured out how to convince me to take vacation. Drive to places where we can bike. With that in mind we loaded up the car and off we went. We headed up north from home up north to a city named San Raphael, California. Alec from XC09 worked in SF and he provided us with a great biked ride from that area which took us through some beautiful areas north of SF, over the Golden Gate Bridge and into the city. A total of 53 miles biked.

The Year started with dinner in January with some ex-co workers and friends. Fast Forward to April 2012. My bike frame of cross country fame came to an unexpected end. In May, it was time to say goodbye to friends and colleagues. 65279;In June, it was time to start on a new adventure. To close out the year, some traditions continue (that you Matt). I actually could not ride my bike for a month from mid July to Mid August so not much to blog about as not much biking going on. I really missed not riding and it took me about a week to get "back in shape". The picture below is for another cross country rider who once rode with his Dog. This reminded me of him. Monday, August 15, 2011. While most of the country has suffered from a heatwave, it has been unusually cool this time of year. During the early morning the sun will shine until 9:00 ot 10:00 in the morning by the beach. I received a nice surprise in the mail from Harry. He sent me a very nice jersey from a bike centre in Liverpool. By coincidence when I stopped to take a picture there was a bud light glass waiting there for me. The glass was empty.
