Asymp; Leave a comment. Having keratoconus means that bright lights and glares from screens have been a problem in terms of drying my eyes and making them sore. On Tuesday 9th September, I started College. Most of the day involved staring at the interactive whiteboard and copying down the information (which I could just about read! Asymp; Leave a comment. Different drops, lacrilube ointment, flaxseed oil, eye bag, more water, reduced time looking at screens. These techniques have obviously worked; I’ve seen a significant improvement in the dryness and soreness of my eyes! Powerpoints are mostly being printed off for me now at College, which definitely contributes to the improvement. The glare from the interactive whiteboard really hurts my eyes. The colour of the powerpoints doesn’t make a difference. Larr; Previous post.

Asymp; Leave a comment. Since the cross linking operation that I had in February, my eyesight has improved quite a lot. I noticed this when I had a check up with my doctor; I could read many more letters further down the chart. After receiving a letter from the hospital, I saw that the measurement results have improved. My vision is still blurry in my right eye, but not as severe. I’m happy that it’s improved since the operation-usually that doesn’t happen! Larr; Previous post. Next post →.

Asymp; Leave a comment. In the last few days, I’ve had very dry and sore eyes. Partly because of College; the glare from the interactive whiteboards and the bright lights has caused a big problem. It’s been agony, so I’ve gone back to using my eyebag which gives me instant, effective pain relief. Overall I still think they’re improving slowly but surely. Blog at WordPress.com.
