Allison's Blog: October 2010
http://allisonbbeall.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 31, 2010. Ted and I are both officially healthy enough to race cyclocross, which is amazing given that neither of us thought we would be doing any cyclocross in 2010. We may not be super fit or fast right now, but we are happy to be physically able to at least participate! Saturday, October 02, 2010. The last week in Spokane has been gorgeous - temps in the 80s and sun! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. The last week in Spokane has been gorgeous - temps.

Allison's Blog: November 2010
http://allisonbbeall.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 28, 2010. My blooming tea from Phil and Ellie. Hound dogs will sleep anywhere. November has been a busy month, and I'm kind of glad it's nearly over! A week ago our refrigerator began having issues, so Ted ran out Saturday morning to "get some ice" for food. I was talking to Rusty on the phone when Ted pulled up in the driveway. Imagine my surprise when Rusty walked into the kitchen! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Allison's Blog: June 2012
http://allisonbbeall.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Since Walla Walla, I've taken a step back from bike racing, and I honestly have no real bike racing plans coming up. The number of crashes I've had in the past couple of years have really put a damper on my enthusiasm for bike racing, so I've begun exploring other options. Unsure of how my back would handle it. While I was at it, I signed up for a couple of triathlons, and I began swimming 2x/week. My first triathlon was the Onion Man Triathlon. Last weekend, I did my second triat...

Allison's Blog: July 2010
http://allisonbbeall.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 28, 2010. We are finally having real summer weather in Spokane, with temperatures in the 90s. Being unable to go outside and enjoy the nice weather on my bike is making me stir crazy. I do still go for short walks around the neighborhood, but otherwise I'm pretty much in the house right now. I need a change of scenery in the worst way! Who wants to take a trip somewhere? I was thinking of driving somewhere to ride my bike, but I can't lift my bike to get it out of/into the car! Apparently...

Allison's Blog: Shamus
http://allisonbbeall.blogspot.com/2011/10/shamus.html
Thursday, October 27, 2011. Rusty named his gray kitten Rascal, and I named my black and gray kitten Bubbles. The kittens were lots of fun, chasing each other all around the house, until a sad day when they climbed some speakers. The speakers fell and Bubbles was crushed, leaving her with severe brain damage. From there on out, Rusty and I shared Rascal. Though I had always loved cats, I really had no idea just how vibrant, social, and loving they could be. until I met a cat named Shamus. Shamus thought ...

Allison's Blog: August 2010
http://allisonbbeall.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 25, 2010. The fence is officially complete now, including the gate across the driveway. I think Hitcher, for one, is definitely happy after 2 months of leashed outside play. Monday, August 23, 2010. We are having a fence put in to enclose the backyard. Here are two shots with just the posts up. It works out well because our neighbor also wanted to fence her yard, so we are sharing the cost of the common fence portion. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Picture Window ...

Allison's Blog: Troika Sprint Triathlon
http://allisonbbeall.blogspot.com/2014/06/troika-sprint-triathlon.html
Tuesday, June 03, 2014. By the time I arrived at the race venue, most of the bike racks were already full. This left me with the second-to-last rack, which was quite a distance from the entrances/exits to the transition area. Perhaps that's why people arrive so early to triathlons! Starting the swim, it was weird to think of just how short the swim would be, and that portion of the race went by very quickly. I was a couple minutes back from the first woman after the swim. http://allisonbbeall.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 15, 2012. I began running last winter, starting with 10 minutes. After years with a serious back injury, I hesitated to get my hopes up that I would ever truly be able to run the way I would want to run. To my surprise, I seemed to respond fairly well to running, and very gradually increased my running time. I was thrilled, and terrified, the first time I ran 5 miles. Thursday, August 02, 2012. Brixie quickly took a liking to Ted. Hitcher was very unsure when he first met Brixie. Starti...
