Friday, October 30, 2009. I thought this was worth a repost:. Once cut, a pumpkin lasts about four to five days, then starts to rot. You can rub Vaseline on the cut parts to help with deterioration. And a tip I read from Real Simple:. Think about cutting out the bottom of the pumpkin instead of around the stem - place your candle on the porch or walkway then place the pumpkin on top. Mix the light rum, lemon juice, and grenadine. Add the ice cubes and fill to your own taste with Cranberry juice. Add a wedge of lemon on your glass and voila! At your Super Bowl Party serve up some fun cocktails - one for the Colts and one for the Saints! 1 1/2 parts Malibu Rum. 3/4 part Malibu Pineapple. 3/4 part blue curacao. 1 3/4 parts pineapple juice. Mix contents in a shaker and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge. 1 oz Light Rum. 1 oz Dark Rum. 1/2 oz. Passion Fruit Juice. 1/2 oz. Lime Juice. Garnish with a lime squeeze, cherry. Pineapple spear, and a paper Umbrella, of course. Check me out on FB!
