Postpositions on Prepositions: May 2014
http://postpositions.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
It's time to say goodbye, my friends. When I first started Postpositions on Prepositions. I fostered the idea to make this blog hyper-focused on local Arizona happenings. And then it evolved into composing random posts where I wrote just to write, and get the wacky stories and crazy emotions out of me. And I loved it. Then, like many novice bloggers, when I would glance at ze gorgeous, big-time. When you read it. When I first began Postpositions. And I don't think that's fair to readers or, well, me.

I love this dude. It's funny to think that Adam and I are getting married in just 42 days. I can't help but feel so lucky and blessed that he's going to be my husband. He makes me laugh out loud everyday, challenges me in conversation with his wit, and is just, well, Adam. He is my heart and my home, and I can't wait to share the rest of my life with him. Right now, I have Zooey (our newly adopted cat) asleep and purring in my lap, and am watching You Got Mail on the E! And off on our next milestone.

30 things you should do before 30. In no random order, here are actions that I'm glad that I took before I turned 30. Because right now, it's baby-making time and I'm told that I'll be glued a bit more to the home base. (Not that I mind that. God, if you know me, I don't mind that at all.). 1 Backpack Europe. Or Latin America. Or just travel somewhere you've always wanted to go, or somewhere you've never seen (outside of where you live). We all know they can do much harm than good. 8 Don't be afraid to s...

Career pathing, budgeting, and relocating- oh my! It feels so good to be back writing here! It really does. Getting everything squared with a new layout here at one of my favorite web designers Maiedae. By the fabulous ladies there. They designed this original layout, but I have a totally different design in mind. I used to get a knot in the middle of my stomach on the way to work, but recently it's said, "Adios.". Building something meaningful, fresh, and creative together? Work is mattering, and volunt...

That I could be the woman who eats nothing but super healthy stuff. Tea all the time. Knowing the distinct palate difference between kale and spinach. Or, maybe someone who just gets super creative at the supermarket wanting to make dressings for meals. Instead, I'm a pre-made oven machine who's very good at ordering McDonald's fries with sides of ranch. That I could be financially comfortable. That I could peruse through Home Goods or Nordstrom without thinking about the constraints in my wallet....

I might have to marry my wedding invitations. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't one of those gals who had always dreamed about her wedding. I remember having a "wedding playlist" on my purple iPod when I was in college where I'd walk around Tempe Town Lake mustering up different ideas of what the details would be. One of those, of course, were the wedding invitations. My cousin, Emily, recently began her own custom stationery business this year. At first, I was a bit hesitant collaborating with Emily ...

Postpositions on Prepositions: 10 instant happies: The David Foster Wallace edition.

10 instant happies: The David Foster Wallace edition. 1 I did a little write up on one of David Foster Wallace's best lectures This Is Water. Once upon a time. Aside from that, I met Molly's boyfriend yesterday and we went on a double date to Urban Taco and then off to see The End of the Tour. Which was about David Lipsky's interview with David Foster Wallace as Wallace wrapped up his book tour of Infinite Jest. Before tackling Infinite Jest. And A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again. Okay, so I hav...
