And well er Granny and yes Grandad also ended up on the trampoline bouncing away with my 3yr old. Her baby brother bemused pulling the kind of contorted faces that my wife blames me for. If You Can't Beat Them. Sunday, 6 July 2014. Tough love: learning to ride a bike. A weekend of tough love was not exactly the plan. The rain now starting to bore so much that my head was raining. The first ray of sunshine and a dry spell we were out with Plan A- a park with a flat pavement and a playground made out of wood. It being Bristol that wood must be making ships of some kind. The same playground designers msut make everywhere in 'new playground' land. Daddy takes the baby to the swings in shame.
