CSIDE in the News. CSIDE member Steven Ward's work on landslide tsunamis in Geophysical Research Letters (GRL vol 28, 3397-3400, Sept. 1, 2001) has received a lot of attention. Co-authored with Simon Day, from University College, London, this GRL paper presents calculations of a possible tsunami for collapse of Cumbre Vieja Volcano on La Palma Island, Canary Islands. Here are a few links to recent interviews and newspaper articles. Please submit comments or questions to Susan Schwartz.
