After work, I really wanted to get out to stretch my legs, so naturally I went for an urban hike. I started at Mechanics Monument Plaza at Market and Bush/Battery. Wells Fargo Stage Coach. On this site, Wells, Fargo, and Co. Banking and Express first opened its doors for business July 13, 1852. Of course, this route up Montgomery Street has a lot of architecture, both new and old to see from below.
