Hondo, il palazzo principale; davanti a esso c'è la famosa camelia chiamata "Goshiki-Yae-Chiritsubaki", vuole dire che ha dei fiori di 5 colori diversi. Purtroppo non erano ancora fioriti, usualmente la fioritura è da fine marzo a metà aprile. Il Jizodo; l'edificio dedicato al Jizo, c'erano tanti bavaglini votivi perché si crede che il Jizo sia divinità tutelare delle partorienti. Venivano tanti fedeli che abitano in vicinanza.

Una guida viva scritta da una cicerone kyotese. TAKEKIRI-ESHIKI al monte Kurama. Vi consiglio di andarci con il treno "Eiden" perché ci porta in vagone panoramico "Kirara-go" realizzato per gli escursionisti in montagna. Questo vagone ha avuto un premio per il suo bellissimo design . L'ingresso del tempio "Kurama-dera", ovviamente si deve salire tanto per arrivare alla parte principale. Comunque si deve salire anche dopo un viaggetto del funicolare. Quando arriviamo al Honden ci aspetta questa vista.

Dopo una camminata di circa 10 minuti in salita arriviamo alla porta d'ingresso Niomon, ci sono due guardiani di bocca aperta di bocca chiusa come sempre.
