Monday, January 14, 2013. All sorts of adventures are happening under our roof! For one, we had a drain pipe burst and render our family room useless. Thank goodness it was covered by our insurance. The wet is gone, but the disorder lingers on as we await dry-wall and carpet men. I have also started insulin therapy, which has rendered me pretty useless for anything other than testing and figuring out how to stuff more carbs into my life! This is a miracle for me. How hard can it be to add such delectable things? It will likely involve a fish fillet and baked potato of some sort, with whatever I can dig up for vegetables. I'm 50 and I know it. Friday, January 13, 2012. Well I didn't write again for a few days, been getting ready for my weekend trip to LA for my daughter's Bridal Shower no.1. Also we get to go to the first dress fitting and see the dress again after we bought it 6 months ago. My daughter and sister (she's 24.long story) anyhoo lots to do in LA. Day 13: Ate good, and exercised and did a ton of stuff to get to the airport on time. And except for the Southwest snafu with my boarding pass we are all here!
