Around the world in 240 days. Sunday, September 30, 2007. Day 108 - It's Only Illegal if You Get Caught. We passed several small villages (a few roadside stalls with one or two houses), where we stopped for chai with the locals. We were something of a novelty, and noticed a few people surrepticiously taking videos or photos. We also stopped occasionally at waterfalls or tributaries to the main river where we rock-hopped and dipped our feet in the water. Saturday, September 29, 2007. Tomorow we might rent...

around the world in 240 days: Day 250 - The Hunt Continues
http://trailingphineasfogg.blogspot.com/2008/02/day-250-hunt-continues.html
Around the world in 240 days. Monday, February 18, 2008. Day 250 - The Hunt Continues. Cz hates apartment hunting. Cz hates having a cold. Both make him crank -eeee. I'm crossing my fingers that the pet policy has changed on the apartment we want. Labels: New York City. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). around the world in 240 days: July 2007
http://trailingphineasfogg.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Around the world in 240 days. Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Day 47 - 27.1 Kilometres (Plus 7 = 35.1). Palais De Rey to Ribadiso. I am in a much better mood. The walk is pretty with plenty of cows and green grass, and we left REALLY early in the morning to beat the hordes of tourists. (A group of 40 Italian High Schoolers joined just after Sarria. Imagine a group of US teens. Now double the volume, double the incomprehensability, and half the deodorant use. We´re glad we left early.). Labels: Camino de Santiago.

around the world in 240 days: Day 245 - Home
http://trailingphineasfogg.blogspot.com/2008/02/day-245-home.html
Around the world in 240 days. Wednesday, February 13, 2008. Day 245 - Home. After class, we went to lunch with the two students left from our generation (they were first years our second year) and a group of current first years. It was comforting to feel a part of design graduate student life again; to be a part of a world with which we were so familiar. Which has the added bonus of being able to see one production tonight, and another two friends' thesis show on Friday. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

around the world in 240 days: Day 251 - Waiting Game
http://trailingphineasfogg.blogspot.com/2008/02/day-251-waiting-game.html
Around the world in 240 days. Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Day 251 - Waiting Game. Because all of our financial records are still in storage, we called the Art Students League to have them fax all our info to the office. When we called, the model coordinator was thrilled to hear from us - someone had canceled at the last minute and could one of us please fill in. Cz was only too happy to get out of a morning of apartment hunting. WE GOT THE APARTMENT! Today was WAY better than yesterday. And we're not...

around the world in 240 days: Day 254 - Home from the Trees
http://trailingphineasfogg.blogspot.com/2008/02/day-254-home-from-trees.html
Around the world in 240 days. Friday, February 22, 2008. Day 254 - Home from the Trees. We spent the morning with my grandmother, stopped briefly back at my mom's, and then dashed off again to go to the jeweler to have some stones we bought in India set and to meet up with my dad for lunch before driving down to VA Beach to see Cz's. Over the next few months I plan to read through this blog (I haven't actually read most of the posts - I write them, Cz. Edits them, and off they go to the interweb. Will wa...

Around the world in 240 days. Friday, August 31, 2007. Day 78 - (Mis) Adventures in Travel. But first, a beautiful view of the hostel terrace where we had our breakfast overlooking the Maramar Sea which connects to the Bosphorus. It was the only calm and relaxed time we had before undertaking the task at hand. End result. We will be in Vienna for 8 days. At the end of it, we will have visas to India. We HOPE. Because we will be in Vienna for an extended time, we may be able to visit some ...We are seeing...

around the world in 240 days: October 2007
http://trailingphineasfogg.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Around the world in 240 days. Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Day 139 - 1200 Metres Elevation. Ghasa to Tatopani. Tatopani literally means "hot water", and the town is named for its natural hot spring. After our ascent and subsequent descent, we were all ready for some serious soaking. The water in one pool was very hot, the other pleasanty warm. We alternated between the two until our fingers and toes were good and pruny, then wandered back up the hill to our guesthouse. Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Day 136 ...
