Construction and Start-up. The first 2009-2010 season. And in the beginning. There was an incredible amount of work! Dirk, Maren, and Fynn and their most excellent staff took over the reins of the guest house and restaurant from the Monsoon's innovative creator, Maya, in 2009. They had some very large flip-flop sandals to fill, and they've very successfully created a space that is a joy to experience. Please click on the pics to enlarge. Blessing of the Serai construction. The bike was a number of decades old, and he had lovingly declared her 'Rosinante', the steed of Don Quixote.
