From Fat to Fit: June 2009
http://not2late2start.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
From Fat to Fit. Tuesday, June 2, 2009. My daughter, Maddy, was asked to be on the tournament team for softball. She has worked hard and has improved a lot from last year. She is showing some promise as a pitcher but she also is doing really well with her fielding. We need to work on her batting but that will come in time. We watched a professional women's softball game last weekend. It motivated her. That is all for now. I am just so proud of her. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://not2late2start.blogspot.com/2009/04/crazy-legs-this-weekend.html
From Fat to Fit. Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Crazy Legs this weekend. This Saturday is the 28th annual Crazy Legs race in Madison. My foot continues to feel good so I am going to run the 5 mile race. I hope the weather improves because today it is cold, raining, and yes, snowing. Busy weekend as my son makes his first communion on Sunday and we will have a houseful of family. I will finish and cross the finish line. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sun Prairie, WI, United States. View my complete profile.

DC Spinster: January 2015
http://dcspinster.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
About running and life in the DC area. Tuesday, January 6, 2015. One of my favorite memories from law school is a party some students in my small section threw at their townhouse to celebrate the end of our three years of study. I was an oddity in my small section in that I was older than everyone else in the section and I had three kids already. The only problem was that Jimmy didn't know how to push the dispensing lever on the outlet to allow the beer to flow after being pumped. But amidst Jimmy's ...

DC Spinster: Great Expectations
http://dcspinster.blogspot.com/2015/07/great-expectations.html
About running and life in the DC area. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. I'm reading Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. It sure is slow going but it sure is good reading. Some paragraphs are a page long! Stead, what, a Harry Potter book? This reduces the stern old spinster, who never left her bridal party room when jilted at the altar decades earlier, into a weeping and prostrate. Supplicant whom Pip comforts. The evolution of a boy-turned-fop into a freestanding, freethinking young man who- what? Another Mi...

I Will Finish This!: May 2011
http://couchpotato-to-ironman.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 28, 2011. This morning I went out to ride the first hill of the Elephant Rock course that I am signed up for next week. I needed to know if I could even make it up it. With 4 weeks off the bike, I am not where I should be and I am not where I want to be with my weight. I made it to the top, and then thought, "Hell, I may as well go a little bit further! 37 mph and was I breaking. Thanks to Julia, Calyx, Tea, Carla, Doreen, Staci and Melissa for encouraging me! Saturday, May 07, 2011. My you...

I am actively seeking a new position as my job is affecting my health and spirit in a very negative way. My goals for this weekend: Ride my bike twice and strength train. Hope you have a great weekend! Saturday, August 11, 2012. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Code Geek's Tail.

From Fat to Fit. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Monday, February 23, 2009. It is a new week and I am going to try to keep a positive attitude toward my workouts this week. We have 6 inches of new snow from the weekend and today it is cold. The rest of the week is not looking promising weather wise either. Cold, rain and some snow. Saturday, February 21, 2009. Old Man Winter is back. I will keep working at it and maybe, just maybe, someday I will surprise myself. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. I really get ...
