Intake Farm has been in the family since Great Grandfather Henry arrived in the 1970s and has been farmed by the Ventress family since 1971. The farm is within the boundaries of the National Park now recognised as a Special Protection Area, reaching up to the North Yorkshire Moors. Follow “Intake Farm”.

Dam tot Dam 2016. Dag 16 Glaisdale to Littlebeck. Maandag, 27 juli 2015. Even verderop hebben we onze lunch gegeten en daarna weer rustig verder gelopen. De hele dag was het jas aan, jas uit. Het miezert steeds, gelukkig geen hoosbuien. Vlakbij ons einddoel werden we nog belaagd door een blaffende bordercollie. Sam gebruikte mij, Anne, als schild. We hoorden later dat deze hond weleens mensen heeft gebeten! Dus iedere avond niet in zo'n heerlijk b&b, maar in een tentje! Moet nog even wennen aan het idee.

A walk of less than 20 km, on the final stage of the coast to coast walk. We have now picked up our kit again (having been sent ahead a few days ago), so my rucksack is about 15 kg / 30 pounds again.
