The Darling Dogwood: 2017 Goals
http://thedarlingdogwood.blogspot.com/2016/12/2017-goals.html
Saturday, December 31, 2016. Since 2017 starts tomorrow, it's time to put some goals in writing. I've been thinking about this for a week or two, and I've enjoyed seeing goals set by others through the 2017 Planning Party. Hosted by Yvonne at Quilting Jet Girl. Goal: Focus on what's already started and what I own. I'm in 2 bees this year: Stash Bee. Where I'm also a Hive Mama, and Bee Inspired. Goal: Remember that "It's okay watch from the sidelines and still be inspired". Goal: Use my Quilter's Planner.

Quilts, critters, family and other fabulousness. A Bit About Me. Prairie Points a simple picto-toot. Prairie Points – a simple picto-toot. Did you ever notice that prairie points have almost disappeared. When I was young, there was a white and green embroidered sampler quilt on our spare room bed. I remember being fascinated with the green triangle trim around the outside edge just inside the binding. I thought it was amazing then. I still do today. Measure a WOF strip 8″ wide x 40″ long. “Crosses and Xs”, A Picto-Toot’… – GRANNYcanQUILT
https://grannycanquilt.wordpress.com/2016/12/14/crosses-and-xs-a-picto-toot
Quilts, critters, family and other fabulousness. A Bit About Me. Prairie Points a simple picto-toot. 8220;Crosses and Xs”, A Picto-Toot’…. This modern looking beauty is a VERY traditional block. It is sometimes called Japanese Cross or Crosses and Losses. Quilters like me have been crushing on it since the 1930s. This block was originally credited to Nancy Cabot in 1938 according to Barbara Brackman’s Encyclopedia of Block Pattern. There are more pics and links to finished projects at the end of the Toot).

December 31, 2016. Farewell 2016, Hello 2017! Ok, so I'm fashionably late to Yvonne's 2017 Planning Linky Party. First, let's look back at 2016. Which included several firsts for me. My first blog hop was participating in Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Vol. 13 blog hop with my first published block pattern, It All Adds Up. I participated in the 2016 New Quilt Bloggers Blog Hop. And was in The Sewcial Network hive hosted, again, by Yvonne. Hosted by Sarah at Confessions of a Fabric Addict. On the tutorials tab.
