Being a vegetarian in korea. living in chungju. teaching university. Jun 29, 2012. I'm back from Cambodia, here are some snippets from my amazing, yet depressing trip:. I'll put up more info in the future. But now it's time to rest, recuperate and prepare to start classes again. Jun 22, 2012. Today is the last day before I take off to Cambodia, so I've been spending it knocking everything off my to do list. Eating what will go bad resulted in broccoli, lentil curry. And a shot of some pretty fantastic 부추전.

vegging in chungju: April 2012

Being a vegetarian in korea. living in chungju. teaching university. Apr 29, 2012. Chubby chicken couch aerobics. So I've got about 10 different nicknames for Abby, and one of those is chubby chicken, because she has tiny chicken legs in comparison to the rest of her body. This is her fantastic pose during her daily couch aerobics session which generally entails her thrashing around wildly on the couch and then sprinting off meowing. And there are more murals happening in the neighborhood! Apr 28, 2012.

vegging in chungju: February 2012
http://vegginginchungju.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Being a vegetarian in korea. living in chungju. teaching university. Feb 29, 2012. This week consisted of a bit of being shuffled around at the university, getting books, a somewhat clarified schedule, and some confusing information in preparation for the start of classes next week. Today being 1절 Independence Day (of Korea from Japan in 1919) we had the day off and I convinced the other teachers to go on a group outing to 중앙탑공원 jungangtap park. No, but oh well, cheesy tourist traps can be fun. I don...

Being a vegetarian in korea. living in chungju. teaching university. Mar 31, 2012. As I was biking home from shopping, I happened to notice this at the intersection near my apartment:. Ok, so I've seen all kinds of people out on the streets (in front of electronics stores), and in stores dancing around to songs (Homeplus! My favourite is when they're being driven around in bongo trucks while music is being played. No better way to get people to vote for you! Mar 30, 2012. It's a thick plastic bag, that c...

Being a vegetarian in korea. living in chungju. teaching university. Sep 16, 2012. Last shots from Shanghai, military giving haircuts in the shopping district. And an interesting take on fries. I still regret not trying the strawberry shortcake ones. Suzhou has been called China's Venice since there are waterways throughout the city and it's incredibly beautiful. Here are some garbage collectors rowing on through Pingjiang Road. Suzhou bridge lit up at night and a souvenir shop. First week(s) of school.
