The full International Solarcar Federation (ISF) approved regulations for the ADSC 2015 (v 1.3 as amended 8 January, 2015) can be found. The approved solar cell list can be found here. All teams are required to demonstrate compliance with the Abu Dhabi Solar Challenge 2015 regulations at technical inspection and qualifying, to be held 12-15 January 2015 in Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi Solar Challenge (ADSC) is a competition which brings together universities from across the globe in order to design, build and drive solar-powered cars across Abu Dhabi. Teams compete on a 1,200 kilometre course over a period of four days across the Emirate. This is the inaugural year of the event.

Successfully completing the Abu Dhabi Solar Challenge (ADSC) competition is a hugely rewarding accomplishment. Teams must first design and build a solar powered vehicle that meets every requirement set forth in the regulations. They are required to submit vehicle design reports and other documentation to competition officials prior to the event for approval. The teams will conduct as much testing and optimisation of their vehicles as possible before the competition starts.

Teams wishing to register for the ADSC must fill out the registration form and return to teams@adsolarchallenge.org. The registration form can be downloaded here. All teams must complete a participation agreement on entering the ADSC. To view, see here.
