In the Kitchen with Audrey: July 2013

http://www.inthekitchenwithaudrey.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

Audrey's Not a Lawyer. Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Back to School Food, Spring Rolls. Back to school has never bothered me before. My girls have been attending a fabulous preschool for several years now. We don't have need to purchase new clothing because I keep my eye out for hand-me-downs or good deals throughout the year. And the girls only attended school for half days so no need for backpacks or lunch bags. Not quite two years old. We learned that Mo loves Spring Rolls during a recent camping trip wit...

In the Kitchen with Audrey: Audrey's Not a Lawyer

http://www.inthekitchenwithaudrey.com/p/disclosure-and-boring-stuff.html

Audrey's Not a Lawyer. Audrey's Not a Lawyer. All of the opinions on this blog are that of Audrey, her little sister (Mo), and her mom. If you read something VERY opinionated, it is most certainly from Audrey. We do most of our work on our own but do, on rare occasions, receive products for review. All reviews are the honest opinion of a young chef and her minions. If you would like to discuss a product review or would like to give us a new cookbook, email inthekitchenwithaudrey@gmail.com.

In the Kitchen with Audrey: Baked Oatmeal #SundaySupper

http://www.inthekitchenwithaudrey.com/2013/12/baked-oatmeal-sundaysupper.html

Audrey's Not a Lawyer. Sunday, December 29, 2013. Baked Oatmeal, healthy fast food. I don't know about you but I have New Year traditions and always make New Year Resolutions. This year, like many, I am resolving to eat healthier and continue to get in shape. The girls and I have not been planning when it comes to meals as much and we have not been exercising near as often as we should. To combat that I purchased myself a Fitbook. To track all of my food intake and exercise. 1 egg (or egg replacer).

In the Kitchen with Audrey: Peppermint Crunch Snack Mix

http://www.inthekitchenwithaudrey.com/2014/01/peppermint-crunch-snack-mix.html

Audrey's Not a Lawyer. Monday, January 13, 2014. Peppermint Crunch Snack Mix. Hope you had some good family time. We were able to spend the holidays with family. Christmas found us in St. Louis and then we made a short trip to Tulsa to visit my family. With two long car rides (both trips are around 4 hours) I wanted to make sure the girls had plenty of snacks. The girls helped me pick out Peppermint Crunch Snack Mix by Sally's Baking Addiction. And Holiday Vanilla Chex Party Mix by The Wannabe Chef.

kris in larryville: New Year, New Posts

http://krisinlarryville.blogspot.com/2013/01/new-year-new-posts.html

New Year, New Posts. The girls and I went out for a short run in the snow this morning. Even though I had gone for a longer run last night on the trails I wanted to start the year with a run. Running with us was Ellen, the founder of Running for the Hill of it and a great inspiration. She is training for a marathon in November so running with her always feels like marathon training. kris in larryville: Flow Found, Running in Snow

http://krisinlarryville.blogspot.com/2013/01/flow-found-running-in-snow.html

Flow Found, Running in Snow. I am reading an amazing book called The Non-Runner's Marathon Trainer. In it there is an idea the authors call flow in which the runner is really into the run. There is much more to it but you need to read the book to get more. I had no idea I would find so much information in a book about running. You put on your shoes and make sure your Garmin is charged, what more is there? Hope my newish Salomon SpeedCross 3s don't get too muddy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

kris in larryville: May 3-7

http://krisinlarryville.blogspot.com/2010/05/may-3-7.html

Meal Planning is slowly getting easier. I have learned that if I serve my basics most of the week and throw in a new recipe one or two days the family eats better. So recently it looks like we have been eating the same meal plan every week. Close but not quite! We added another favorite to the rotation: roasted vegetables and chicken. So easy, this one was made by Audrey. Carrots and peanut butter. Cottage cheese and fruit. Im pretty much hour by hour planning. Good luck in the 5k. 28 Days of Dinner.

kris in larryville: What's in Your Freezer?

http://krisinlarryville.blogspot.com/2010/10/whats-in-your-freezer.html

What's in Your Freezer? We have a chest style deep freeze. After a while of picking up deals when I saw them and not really remembering what I had on hand, the freezer got a little full. My friend Jenn. Enter one Friday evening with the girls in bed, Joshua in Wichita, and me in the basement. I watched a movie but was still not tired. After looking over a pile of coupons waiting to be cut out I remembered Jenn saying that it was better to meal plan at first. So that is what I shall do. 3 packages hot dogs.
