http://the4perrys.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
A running description of the Perry family as we do life. Friday, July 29, 2005. Posted by Lyndsey @ 2:08 PM. Monday, July 25, 2005. Paul and I figured it up last night - it's almost baby time around here! We have our 36 week appointment on Wednesday and after that we will see Dr. Abney every week! She said we should expect this baby to come around the same time Emma did.well, that means after Wednesday, we would go to next week's appointment and then deliver! We can hardly believe it is coming so fast!

For you are a bit of smoke that appears for a little while, then vanishes. JAMES 4:14. December 12, 2007. Posted by Bruce under Blogging. No one has been around in a while. People pass by it every day on their way to some place else and hardly give it a thought. Even those who were frequent visitors have forgotten how to get here. Occasionally someone will stop by, perhaps hoping someone will be home, and they think about the owner. I wonder what happened to him? They ask, he just up and left. But then y...

The 4 Perry's: October 2005
http://the4perrys.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
A running description of the Perry family as we do life. Monday, October 31, 2005. Gabe's 2 month check-up. I forgot to update last week (well, actually we have had a crashed computer for a week! After Gabe's 2 month check up on the 27th. He weighed a whopping 14 lbs. 7 oz. - good for the 95th percentile. His height was 26 inches - not even on the doctor's chart! She said that was the average height for a 6 month old! So over the 100th percentile! Do you think that guarantees us NBA? All 14 pounds of him!

Last Exit Before Oblivion: August 2004
http://lastexitbefore.blogspot.com/2004_08_01_archive.html
Last Exit Before Oblivion. Thursday, August 26, 2004. I've been thinking lately about the story of Peter and John meeting the crippled beggar by the temple. He'd been crippled all his life. Peter and John have no money, but "What I have I will give to you. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, get up and walk.". It takes children years to learn this. God entered this man's mind and gave him the ability to walk, in all of its balanced and unpredictable complexity. Walking, it turns out, is pretty much a learn...

Last Exit Before Oblivion: Toward Freedom XXXIV
http://lastexitbefore.blogspot.com/2014/11/toward-freedom-xxxiv.html
Last Exit Before Oblivion. Friday, November 14, 2014. God, who made the universe and all of its life, looks at people and sees. what? For him, all of time and space are spread out under his gaze and feel. One day I was working on a sand sculpture. It was a busy day on the beach, and the place I'd chosen to build was right in the middle of the traffic. The sun was racing to the western sky and I had a sculpture to finish. Are you going to leave that rough place inside there? A man passing by asked. Like l...

Last Exit Before Oblivion: January 2005
http://lastexitbefore.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Last Exit Before Oblivion. Monday, January 31, 2005. Singer Of Our Names. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Jesus spoke the world into being. He knows our names. Unlike the names we attract in life, his name is the true one, the ineffable one, the one that describes every aspect of us, spirit, mind and body. He speaks my identity. Craig calls me "Armstrong," because of my interest in the space program. I hope it's not because I'm a space case. None are worse...

Last Exit Before Oblivion: May 2005
http://lastexitbefore.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Last Exit Before Oblivion. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Breezze has an interesting post. Over on her Blog, about a conference she attended. I left her a comment on one aspect of what she wrote, and her response led to more questions. It's a long-running question in my mind: How do you change people? Specifically, how do people become followers of Jesus in more than words? Are they made, or are they grown? We're all babies when it comes to relating to God. We may look adult, but we're not. We think we k...I wan...

The 4 Perry's: December 2005
http://the4perrys.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
A running description of the Perry family as we do life. Tuesday, December 27, 2005. And our other exciting news this Christmas.while we were all eating our Christmas dinner, Gabe was laying on a blanket beside the table. Emma told us all to watch him and everyone got to see as he rolled over, completely unassisted for the first time ever! He is exactly 4 months today and I think we are all in big trouble once this kid gains his mobility! Posted by Lyndsey @ 9:10 AM. Christmas with the Perry's! Emma open...
