February 3, 2014. Last weekend I was given one of the best surprises ever. On Thursday night my cousin Melissa showed up in Walker Hall! We enjoyed chatting a ton, watching Downton Abbey, going to Pour Jon’s, looking through my genealogy, watching The Avengers and Psycho (if you can’t tell by now, we have quite the wide range of taste), and playing retro arcade games at this great place in Fayetteville called Arkadia. Wendell Berry has easily become one of my favorite authors in the last two years. I absolutely love his poetry, and have now ventured into his fiction, which is just as beautiful. Friday, November 18, 2011. I love this picture! Years ago when we lived in Colorado Springs, I was in the kitchen cleaning up after lunch and heard Amelia and Eli giggling and playing together nicely! Oh what a good big sister to dance and play for her baby brother and keep him happy for two minutes while I finish up. I walked in on her "coloring in" Eli's face with a marker! Of course it wasn't a washable one so this lasted a couple of days! WE LOVE YOU MOM! It said it was 5:09am! Ok, that can't be so!
