Aaron- perhaps July on (the last section of the trail, probably New York up) if he has the funds and his knee recovers. Travis- possibly for an entire month if a) he really means it b) he has the $1000 he needs for it and c) he has time for it. S. Leah- She is considering joining me at some point for a week or more.

Kai Kaapro as he hikes the Appalachian Trail. Sweet Maryland I have reached you. I could have gone into debt, put off another semester of college and kept going if I wanted. And then this all faded away. I wrapped the Trail inside me, tucked it away securely in a solemn place and took a nap. When I woke, I was no longer a Thru-hiker but a civilian again. The end is near. Nine days is a blink of an eye, only 160 miles. My mind is still set on Maine, on the northeast, on over 1000 more miles of trail.

Igår var det tänkt att jag skulle springa långpass. Typ första långpasset sedan i vintras, definierat som minst nittio minuter sammanhängande löpning med låg puls.
