When it was in town for Navy Week back in July. At the end I mentioned that I would try to go back and tour the other ships if possible, which is precisely what I did two days later. Having learned from the previous day, I arrived early and was able to get aboard the cruiser Princeton. While we were on the bridge, I was afforded a rare opportunity.

Min mor hentede børn i Karleby og Ejby og fragtede dem problemfrit igennem den svenske kontrol ved Øresundsbroen til Ystad, så de kunne træde ombord kl. 10:15. Vi satte stort set med det samme kurs mod Hasle på Bornholm. Øresund viste i dag bølger på ca. 1 m. højde lige i r af båden, så vi blev skubbet afsted, op og ned, til Bornholm i 8 m/s vind. 5,5 timer tog det før vi kunne lægge os på en plads i Hasle. 34,4 sømil på 5,5 timer.
