I am an evolutionary biologist by way of computer science. I am primarily interested in the influence of the complexity of biological systems on the workings of natural selection. I also have a background in the neurophysiology, behavior and molecular chemistry of vision. Then again, I've also spent an inordinate amount of time with butterflies. Outside of the lab, the pursuit of a creative outlet first led me to the realm of electronic music production.
