It's My Mad. Life. The natives are restless…or are those my kids? Is anyone still here? Slacking off on blogging always seems like a good idea at the time, but as I’ve said many times before, I know I’ll regret it a year from now. So, for the sake of next-year-Rhonda, here’s some of what we’ve been up to since I last blogged:. Any fish that was still alive was released, and one lucky family got to take the rest home. Mr Rob and the girls with the load of wood. Shared that tradition with us.🙂 Easter ...

It's My Mad. Life. The natives are restless…or are those my kids? 8230;since Matthew moved. We’ve seen each other 18 of those days*. Today he came back with a U-haul truck and we’re packing up to move. All of us. Together. Our family. It’s turning out to be quite hard to leave this house and our church family here, I won’t lie. It's My Mad. Life. The natives are restless…or are those my kids? I’m tempted to say that I’ve never been so glad to see a month pass by, but I’m pretty sure that late January/early February 2005 would give this time a run for its money. Right, Auntie Kim? 🙂 In late January 2005, just 12 days after we arrived in Madagascar, Matthew left for 15 days of training in Tanzania. Jeepers. We showed our house last night for the first time. I would love for that to be the end of that, but my faith is small.

It's My Mad. Life. The natives are restless…or are those my kids? Links to Fun Stuff. I just had some popcorn and a smoothie that was loosely based on this recipe. It’s like eating peanut butter ice cream in a glass. Delish. Larissa made herself some oatmeal in the microwave, took it downstairs and then came back up to say that he wanted some too. So, they are playing Wii and eating instant oatmeal. That also makes me smile. Have a great week! Thinking about you and your move coming up! You are commentin...

It's My Mad. Life. The natives are restless…or are those my kids? After my reading my Bible and a few thoughts from my pretend-BFF Beth Moore, I have the lyrics from an old song going around in my mind…. They that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength;. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary;. They will walk and not faint. Teach me, Lord; teach me, Lord, to wait. Teach me, Lord, to wait down on my knees. Till in your own good time you answer my pleas. Notify me...
