Rosemary Raisin Bread — The Slice of Life ShowThe Slice of Life Show
http://www.thesliceoflifeshow.com/bread/rosemary-raisin-bread
February 3, 2015 •. This bread tastes like Hawaiian sweet rolls, with little nuggets of sweet raisin and the essence of earthy rosemary. It makes really great ham and cheese sandwiches! It’s made in that trusty food processor again,. Which makes it so easy. Rosemary and raisins are a great combination! Think earthy and herbal, yet sweet and moist– that’s this bread! Process together, pulse a couple times, and form the loaf into a simple round. I can see the little bits of rosemary, can you? 1/2 cup raisi...

July 18, 2015 •. During the summer it can be so warm and nice outside that we don’t really want to be in the kitchen too much. Dinner often becomes a BTL with fancy bacon, homemade mayo and a perfectly ripe tomato. Sandwiches are part of our dinners and we make them tasty and satisfying. February 10, 2016 •. A customer recently emailed a compliment and recipe request for our Coconut Macaroons. I thought it might be nice to share the recipe with everyone. We first started making these cookies about three years ago, they are a nice chewy classic macaroon I think you will enjoy. The shape we use at the bakery is a funny three sided pyramid. I had looked and looked at professional bakery supply stores for just the right size and shape and didn’t have any luck. Then one day when...Firmly smac...

Potato Bread — The Slice of Life ShowThe Slice of Life Show
http://www.thesliceoflifeshow.com/bread/potato-bread
August 6, 2015 •. There are some great things about summer… the produce, the weather, and the simple meals. It’s a simple bread recipe to follow. Start with some warm, cooked sweet potatoes and room temperature butter and buttermilk. Then add them to the mixer, and start adding flour. Knead until you get a soft dough. Put in a large bowl and let rise for 1 and 1/2 hours. Divide into two loaf pans and let rise again. Bake and let cool. You’ll love having this one in your recipe file. 2 1/2 teaspoons salt.
