I was hoping to qualify for Kona and felt like my fitness was there. My last two attempts to get back to the big island didn't go well and now attempt number three came and went and I wasn't even on the starting line. Should I sign up for another Ironman? Thursday, March 27, 2008. I'm so excited. So ready to race. I've been training for 3 months now, in preparation for IM. And I want to see how my training is paying off. Sure, I can determine this by my test weeks, but its just not as fun! It's a sprint tri. Down at Ole Miss, but I am determined to blow my time out of the water from last year. I went a 1:20 ish. 2 miles. Ok. Maybe cutting 10 minutes may be asking too much with the lengthening of the course, but I'm excited nonetheless. I can't wait! Brain...

And why not - they're quite similar under the bathtub body. And with a VW repop, you get most of the experience for a fraction of the cost. And you won't cry as much if somebody dings it up. Monday, July 30, 2012. Miata Mods - New Suspenders. With 105k miles over the course of 21 years, the Miata's stock shocks were more than tired. Not quite as gone as the ones were on the on the previous red Miata, but bad enough that the car wasn't handling nearly as well as a Miata should. I wanted it slightly lower, but not too low that the lower edge of the front bumper would scrape on the driveway. Or the many speed bumps in our neighborhood. Rear, the purple thing is the new travel-increasing top hat.
