Ms Gullo's Kindergarten Blog. Friday, March 27, 2015. UPDATES for 3/23-3/27 2015. CONGRATULATIONS to our Spelling Bee Reps- Juancarlos and Jeremy! Will serve as our alternate. These students will participate in the Irving School Spelling Bee for K-2 to be held Wednesday, April 15th beginning at 11:45 am in the Irving Auditorium. I was so proud that ALL of my students participated the our classroom "bee." It went 7 rounds before we were left with 3! It was a great show of interest, effort and courage!

Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Last Week of 2nd Grade! Wow, is the end of the year really here? Even though we didn't make it to Barrie for our picnic, we enjoyed a picnic style lunch in our hallway and a photo school scavenger hunt. Here's what we have planned for the rest of the week:. Wednesday: Game Day- -bring your favorite board or card game to play. Thursday: Clean-up day- bring a bag or two to bring home all of you school goodies- -workbooks and supplies. Thursday, April 10, 2014. Just a few things this week:. 1 Next week there is no school on Friday. 2 The April Monthly writing went home last Friday. Its poetry this month, so have fun with it! This will be our last monthly writing. We will be assigning the kids a final trimester project in May instead. The final project will tie together the economy unit we are finishing up, our next science unit of simple machines, and persuasive writing. Next we will dive into fractions! The coin drive would run.
