花蓮縣鳳林鎮文史工作協會 www.iSeeFenglin.com. 花蓮縣鳳林鎮中華路164號 03-8760905. 萬里橋隨筆系列(六)- - - - 路名真棒的小路. 話說前回本系列提到了萬榮開發區的往事，昔日隨著政府撤退的國軍陸續解甲，投入臺灣東部河川浮覆地的墾拓工程，鳳林地區北有平林開發區，南有萬榮開發區陸續完成，面積均達1,400公頃以上。 而北區的平林開發區，有幸於1974年為新光人壽集團購入726公頃，歷經40年的投資，如今才能成為遍地翠綠，具有農林漁牧與休閒功能的農場。也因此順勢讓周遭的農地價值也雨露均霑，地價近幾年來也被炒作的水漲船高。 而緊鄰在萬榮墾區的西邊，隱藏在花東公路246.5K附近ㄧ個路名並列的路牌標誌"忠一路"與"忠二路"豎立著，低矮的路牌在公路旁，若不留意也讓人不易看見。沿著入口巷道走進這個小小的村落，這裡似乎也被人們遺忘它的存在，昔日喧囂的情景，如今也破落寂靜下來了。 如今昔日的第二代周清豪(老兵周秋榮先生的公子)先生也當選連任多屆的長橋里長，當老編在登出萬里橋隨筆向周里長查詢諸多往事時，也透露出許多的無奈與不捨。 認識它 鳳林文史 客家庄 慢城小鎮.
