Within the SCA I am known as Lady Rosalinda of Castile. I am generally a social butterfly, though my hobbies include the scribal arts, archery, and thrown weapons. What better to fill a new house than a few pets. Our most unusual pet is our ball python. We never did name her. we just call her snake. She can't hear so what's the use calling her? Yes, I'm a snake. Leave me alone. I'm taking a bath! Waiter, bring me the fluffy white one and some cheese dip! I like kids, they're much cooler than the bigger humans! Oooh yeah, it's good to be king. Whadda you mean yer goin' to work? Don't leave me hangin' here! Dixie at her favorite pastime - sleeping.

Within the SCA I am known as Sir Isenwulf Thorolfssone. As a child I always wanted to be a knight in shining armor so when I found out about the Society I put together some armor and began to live the dream. I wasn't a knight right away of course. I spent a lot of time learning how to handle swords, shields, spears and polearms and getting hit often when I handled them incorrectly. Eventually after earning a number of awards. For fighting prowess and service I was knighted in a grand ceremony.

We spend as much time as we can working on the house we bought in October of 2002. It's a Victorian style house that was built in 1920. It was used as a rental property before we bought it and we are converting it to a single-family home as well as making some improvements that will make it more pleasant to look at. Here's how the house looked when we bought it. We added some landscaping to the front, mostly to not have to mow the steep bank. The dining room didn't look bad to begin with.
