The design is based on the Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife, more commonly known as the Royal Marines Commando Dagger as it features in their insignia. The knife was made famous in World War II when issued to the British Commandos, the Airborn Forces, SAS and many other units, especially for the Normandy Landings in June 1944. (wikipedia).

I found this really cute little mould that reminds me alot of jelly so I have decided to try set a clear resin with 100's and 1000's in them. Life continues with The Nasturtium Fireplace surround coming closer to an end - looking super-good but have to remake a couple of the tiles. and there's always tweaking. End in sight though.prasise be! My client loved the last sample and the colours are coming out a-stunning indeed! She was vying for my attention at my Mum's pond recently, with this young chap.

If the casks are to be stored on pallets then the casks need to be filled (although not necessarily emptied) from the end, so a new bung hole is created for this.
