Lena är en av de Arktiska älvarna som transporterar mest organiskt material från land till hav. Superintressant för oss alltså! Men vi lämnade packisen och isbjörnarna bakom oss och har nu grått och blåsigt väder och plusgrader. Trist men det underlättar provtagningen. Det enda som är konstant är måltiderna! Only one of the four life boats made it to the Siberian mainland, where they could spread the terrible news. The most interesting part here is that a couple of years later, pieces of the mast of the Jeannette were found on the eastcoast of Greenland (! Bennett Island. Photo: Jorien Vonk.
