It’s just so hard to believe that we are half way through this pregnancy! My 20 week scan was on March 1, 2016. Everything looks great and Maelynn is measuring 14oz which is perfect. She was VERY active during the ultrasound which made the sonographers job challenging. I am pretty set on the idea of a 32-34 week ultrasound in 3/4D to see what she looks like 😉. 20 weeks, 2 days. Last week Ryan was jumping all over me and we told him he has to be careful of my belly. I asked him if he was trying to climb back in and told him he couldn’t because there’s no room. Our First ultrasound will be Monday November 30th at 9:15am. I will be almost 7 weeks (6 6). By this point we can expect to see a gestational sack and possibly a formed fetus. If not, a fetal pole. So far my HCG betas have been right on target. All three checks show a 49 hour doubling time. The doctors are looking for a 48-72 hour doubling time. 8221; Errrr…. Today I am 12 weeks pregnant! Baby is the size of a lime. We officially graduated from Shady Grove Fertility at 8.5 weeks and had my first appointment with my OB at 9.5 weeks. I stopped all of my supplementary medications at 10 weeks and for the last two weeks have just been a regular pregnant women-only taking prenatal vitamins! My last ultrasound was at 10w6days. I try to fill my calendar with fun family and social things, but still need “hobbies” to keep me from constantly obsessing, especially in the evenings (a toddler with an 8 o’clock bedtime means we’re always home early). Monthly Archives: October 2015. What a difference a day makes. October 20, 2015. Yesterday was a blue day, it was lonely, scary and miserable. There have been too many blue days recently. Today I had my ultrasound……… and it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be. I found it fascinating to see and the woman took the time to explain everything to me. It was reassuring and made me feel so much better about the situation. But at least we are finally getting answers. Time to share my story.

Monthly Archives: February 2016. A miracle has happened……. February 14, 2016. Miracles do happen, this cycle I felt more positive. I had the help I needed from the consultant and doctors and was finally on the medication that could help me. And it did, that change of attitude and getting the right help worked. As of today I am 6 weeks pregnant! I am scared, excited, relieved and thankful. This experience has been the hardest of my life and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. A miracle has happened…….
