Because "convenience fees" suck. Tuesday, February 12, 2008. The Magnetic Fields - February 11, 2008 - Iron Horse Music Hall, Northampton, MA. Way to see the Magnetic Fields live. My girlfriend Kim and friend Matt, and I were able to score a table in the absolute front row on the floor. We were so close that whispers between the band members could be heard by us. All of the combined charms of the band and venue left me speechless and aching for more. February 11, 2008. Iron Horse Music Hall.

Because "convenience fees" suck. Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Morrissey - October 30, 2007 - Orpheum Theatre, Boston, MA. What can be said about Morrissey that hasn't already been said a million times over? The setlist was very solid, with songs ranging from early Smiths tracks to Morrissey songs that are so new that they have yet to be properly recorded. "How Soon is Now? October 30, 2007. 1 Intro (Klaus Nomi's "Death"). 2 Simon Smith and His Amazing Dancing Bear. 6 Shoplifters of the World Unite. Novem...

Because "convenience fees" suck. Thursday, November 15, 2007. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - November 12, 2007 - The Middle East, Cambridge, MA. What can I say about Clap Your Hands Say Yeah? Alec was in an excellent and playful mood for this show, which was a real treat as his personality shifts from show to show. Sometimes he won't say a word all concert, but there was plenty Alec-talk at this gig. Also of note, Alec is now sporting a mustache. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. The Middle East Downstairs. Sound Pr...

http://thebootieblog.blogspot.com/2007/10/welcome.html
Because "convenience fees" suck. Wednesday, October 10, 2007. The Bootie Blog is now up and running! After taking my good friend Matt's suggestion, I have created a blog where I will post uploads of concerts that I tape. To reiterate my 'about me' description, I attend many concerts by my favorite bands, which consist predominantly of what many would call "indie rock." At these shows, I usually bring along my trusty recording rig which has produced excellent results in the past. If you are an artist (or ...

An Indie Music Blog For the Adventurous. Just another Indie Music blog. They’re Digging in the Wrong Place. They’re Digging in the Wrong Place. Darrin James Band – Thrones of Gold. As a resident of Brooklyn’s uber-trendy Williamsburg, it might have been quiet easy for Darrin James. While the majority of the album is straight roots rock, the title track, Thrones of Gold. A few months back, I hopped the L to the Lorimer stop to see the Darrin James Band. Play at Pete’s Candy Store. July 3, 2007. 1000 Miles...

Because "convenience fees" suck. Sunday, October 14, 2007. Of Montreal - October 12, 2007 - The Roxy, Boston, MA. Brilliant concert from of Montreal! My second time seeing them in 2007, this show far exceeded the energy, setlist, and quality of the previous Boston gig from the Spring. This show was taped from front row, center, right in the midst of all the action. At one point, Kevin jumped into crowd, onto myself and my friends Matt and Rachael. Enjoy! October 12, 2007. 2 So Begins Our Alabee. Thank yo...
