The enormous platter was overflowing with food, so we were stuffed when we paid up and left. We then took off, again avoiding Switzerland, and headed southwest to go to Grenoble to visit our longtime friends, Jose and Marielle Flatot-LeBohec, and their two sons, Victor and Charles.
