DINAH BROOKS: An Eye on the World. Snapshots in words and pictures. Morning in the desert. It’s tempting to think of the Arizona desert as dry, lifeless … and dull. Nothing could be further from the truth! The greatest rewards are for those who are patient. Here are some pictures I took one morning last September. There are also a huge assortment of hummingbirds, butterflies and other critters. Like other animals, they prefer the cooler part of the day, but cool is all relative — even in Septem...Fill in...

What have you done in the spirit of love and friendship today? Like sands through the hourglass… so are the days of our lives. No – I’m not a Days of Our Lives fan. 🙂 Sadly I have no time for soap operas in my schedule unless you count Game of Thrones and Once Upon A Time (these are my guilty pleasures and I love them)? Rest assured – All the people in my life that I love have now sincerely been told 1897 times over the last two months. Daydreaming, imagining and fantasizing all count as baby steps too!

DINAH BROOKS: An Eye on the World. Snapshots in words and pictures. Monday afternoon in Cornfields. It’s never Dall in Denali. This Dall sheep was nibbling on the tiny buds just coming out on the brush. This is another photo where I’m pushing my little lens to the max and have a lot of detail blown out, but I just love the sheep’s expression. I have a series of these, and he just has this mellow nature about him … a little grin … I swear he’s winking in one …. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
