Friday, March 27. Time is flying by. I see it in my eleven-year-old’s face and voice. His pants are short again. He asks me to measure him. Thursday, December 19. Slowing down and keeping things in perspective. I am 33 weeks along and getting very excited about meeting our little girl. Things have been busy and my energy is starting to disappear, like gone after 6:00 pm. I can sense the holiday stress/frenzy. I wrote about this in a post a while back but it is a great reminder for me as Christmas is right around the corner. Post 1: encouraging little ones to think of others. Post 2: slowing down and keeping things in perspective.

Thursday, May 30. Summer break is just around the corner we can actually feel it! We had our first really hot day so the boys were outside a lot cooling off in our blow up pool. It’s just big enough for them at this age and they don’t really care as long as they get wet. My boys at home are nine (but, oh, so close to ten) and seven. They are growing up, but I like that they will. Stop their world to race over and show me. These days, there are many things. That tug at a mother’s attention. Saturday, May 4.

Friday, March 15, 2013. Well, that was amazing. In a week and a half, the Lord not only brought a family to buy our condo, but he brought the perfect people to buy it. We are officially under contract. It sometimes seems easy to underestimate God, or at the very least to under expect from Him. Why would God do or orchestrate perfectly. He did. Saturday, June 27. Rain puddles, steps and the chicken dance. So this time around in parenting (remember my husband and I have a 26, almost 12 and a 9 year-old and now a 16 month-old too), I am stopping a bit more to enjoy little moments that to others might seem insignificant but to me it’s a gift. We are champions of outdoor play. We've been campaigning for fresh air for a decade. Children who spend time outdoors are happier, healthier, nicer, stronger, they eat better, they play better, they love life and at the end of the day, they sleep sounder! That's why we're pretty pleased with our location in the middle of a 42 acre private woodland estate in the middle of Maghull.
