July 5, 2015. I will be the first to admit the production value on these giraffe growth photos is slipping. I don’t know why, but she just doesn’t want to sit still and smile while I take 60 photos… This is one of the few where the giraffe actually remained in the chair. Baby girl is getting more expressive. Our ‘baby’ is gaining more and more mobility. She can crawl the *normal* way now but she still enjoys a good scoot. Spinning is also fun. 8221; *head nod* “Iris, do you want to take a nap? We had a f...

Monday, August 13, 2012. Wash it real good! St weekend I FINALLY got around to making something I’ve been thinking about for a long time. You guys already know about my homemade/less chemical deodorant. And it was finally time I made the leap, to yes, laundry soap. I have been reading homemade laundry soap recipes for years now but just never got around to it. I was brought to my attention again when Becca. And the ingredient list satisfied me. My third option would have been Dr. Bronner’s Cast...Now the...

June 10, 2015. One of the awesome things about crafting for a baby (especially when that baby is your own) is that you can make whatever you want because they can’t yet voice an opinion. Winning! I really enjoyed making this monster for Iris’ first birthday. If you don’t see what I’m talking about, then God bless. But once I saw it, I couldn’t un-see it and I couldn’t let my kid play with a toy that uh, had these parts. I had to rip them out several times and strategically...8221; which talks about think...

August 17, 2015. A few years ago, I made a sculpture out of toilet paper. To go above our mantel. I originally bought this fabric for the shade in our bathroom makeover. But it was too busy next to the art I wanted to hang. I tried to force it into the nursery. But it didn’t work there either. But it’s great on this little stool. Alaine’s Stenciled Curtains. October 27, 2016. So I officially migrated over to my second smart phone. My Moto X made it almost three years before it started getting really flakey.
