New to container gardening. Drilled some holes in the bottom of this old potty chair and planted an ivy geranium. We'll see how this works out as a planter. Used up some pots from plants my black thumb has killed previously. Grandparents got kids a Topsy Turvy for Valentines day. So far so good. Got 3 teeny tomatoes on it already. Post a new comment. Early this spring I told myself that I was going to show restraint in what I bought and planted. It was great in theory but yeah, didn't work so well. More tales of tomato bondage.and breaking free! 2-3 weeks ago I posted this pic:. Now, the longer vine? This is what it looks like now:. That top tomato (which isn't really because there's one nearly as big but about 6 inches further out that you can't see from this angle) is nearly a yard beyond the railing.
