The Three Willden Boys: Goodbye Grandma Bea
http://whathaveitosay.blogspot.com/2011/04/goodbye-grandma-bea.html
The Three Willden Boys. Thursday, April 14, 2011. She loved to camp, Grandpa Cec was a hunter and a fisherman, and she loved to be out camping with him. My earliest memories are of the annual gathering at deer camp among the boulders behind TV Hill. For many years my family tented but grandma's trailer was always available for warmth or games and candy, that is when we could pull ourselves away from the crowd around the fire-barrel. The Three Willden Boys: March 2010
http://whathaveitosay.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The Three Willden Boys. Monday, March 15, 2010. We didn't think to get before pictures, and the photo quality isn't that great because the only camera we had was a cell phone but. Today the boys got haircuts. It's blurry but note the massive rooster tail Simon is sporting. The sides are gone now to start on the long stuff on top. Any trip to this barbershop ends with a Balloon! 160;Notice the gel spiked hair. And a chance to play on the slide! And this is Ben's turn. Ben and his naturally spiky hair!

http://chukani.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Where stories about Chuck and I abound. Saturday, June 27, 2009. Gardening is a joy. Our vegetable and flower gardens are in full swing, and I've been meaning to share some photos. So here we go! I was up early and decided to grab the camera to take with me as I walked around the yard. I really like the early morning sunlight on the plants, it makes the colors glow and everything is so fresh and crisp. Here's a planter Pat has over on her side of the backyard, I just love the hot pink and dark purple col...

The Chukani Tribe: March 2009
http://chukani.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Where stories about Chuck and I abound. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. March is supposed to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb, right? I'm just glad our tulips and daffodils were shy this spring and are barely poking their green shoulders above ground, so I think they'll weather the freeze ok. Unfortunately, I heard that the West Slope of Colorado (where they have fertile valleys to grow all the yummy cherries, apricots, peaches, melons, apples, pears. oh so good! It was kind of a musical spoof on the ...

An American flag flies in a light breeze over headstones at Fort Logan National Cemetery near sunset.(John Leyba, The Denver Post). Irving Berlin, 1918; revised 1938. While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,. Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free,. Let us all be grateful for a land so fair,. As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer. God bless America, land that I love. Stand beside her and guide her.

The Chukani Tribe: Summer Road Trip, pt 2
http://chukani.blogspot.com/2009/10/summer-road-trip-pt-2.html
Where stories about Chuck and I abound. Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Summer Road Trip, pt 2. Welcome back to the Road Trip series. After we left the petroglyphs and Albuquerque, Chuck and I drove across Arizona. The road was long, but not so winding, as you can see by this photo:. We had a picnic lunch from eats in the cooler, (yes, we ate in the truck with the a/c on. It was over 100 degrees out! And then drove along to the Petrified Forest. It was eerily quiet and still out there. We were practicall...

Where stories about Chuck and I abound. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. New Years at the Cabin. It all started eons ago. Chuck and Bill would head up to the cabin over New Year's each year. Lots of snowmobiling, steaks on the grill, and plenty of movies (from Santa Claus even! You might think now that the guys have grown up, settled down, gotten married. they might want to start new traditions, like staying close to town. Or even shopping for those "day after Christmas" bargains. Nope! We have a nice long rop...

The Chukani Tribe: September 2009
http://chukani.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Where stories about Chuck and I abound. Monday, September 28, 2009. When she's not outside, our Siberian Husky Keena hangs out in our back room. It's a cozy room, with her crate and favorite blanket for napping, and of course lots of rawhide toys for chewing on. This is also where Chukani usually spend time tv/movie watching, so we hang out with her back there quite often. However, when we aren't out there. she sometimes pouts and decides that lounging on the couch will get our attention. I've also canne...
