My life, my heart, my home. First day of school. July 27, 2011. Epic fail on the blog front. Work has taken over life at the moment (it’s temporary, I hope) and that means I am not as free in the evenings as usual. Plus, I discovered The Hunger Games. Wow A whole other post. 4th of July week was all I hoped it would be and more. Sand, surf, lobster, taffy, sun. As good as it gets! Without further ado, here are the pics. My life, my heart, my home. The grass is greener. May 3, 2011. I freely admit it: I set the alarm for 5:15 am on April 29 to watch Will and Kate get married. It was fun! I made English Breakfast tea, enjoyed the quiet, and felt like some things never change. People still get excited for these sorts of things. I haven’t been to London in more than 10 years, but I remember walking into Westminster Abbey and being overwhelmed. It’s enormous, and beautiful. Responses to “The Royal Treatment”.

I thought we were pretty lucky, up until this point - seeing how Leo and Sadie were exposed to kid-germs all day and we all stayed relatively healthy. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. It took a hearty New Englander to make it through this winter. While snow didn't actually fall until almost February, when it came - it was intense. The city of Boston hit a new record of 108.6 inches of snow. On top of the illness we experienced (see previous post), we were all incredibly ready for the possibilities of Spring. Sadie was chosen as Holliston's "artist of the month" for April - this is among all kids/all schools.not just elementary or even just kindergarten!

My life, my heart, my home. October, part 2: Hallsnoween. November 7, 2011. It was the freakest of storms. A Nor’easter in late October! Luckily we escaped any real damage or power outages. It didn’t dampen the festivities whatsoever! We even were able to build a snowman. Then back home to trick or treat in our own neighborhood, the fairy and the storm trooper. Happy Halloween!
