http://tonioneill.blogspot.com/2011/01/races.html
I am now back on the Gold Coast and my travelling adventures are over! This beautiful picture is in Mykonos. Saturday, 15 January 2011. Today we decided to head to the races for some fun in the sun and to "frock" up. Upon trying to get into the gate, I was accosted by the security guard and made to wear an "age" bracelet for the whole day to say I was over 18. However, the people at the bar didn't believe me or my "age" bracelet and made me show my ID again! Successing out winners with Hilton. Nine of us...

I am now back on the Gold Coast and my travelling adventures are over! This beautiful picture is in Mykonos. Saturday, 12 February 2011. Sara's 25th Birthday Party. It was Sara's 25th birthday this month and so she had a "no frills" birthday party in the back yard to celebrate. She had loads of friends around, bbq, fire and a pinata which was filled with glitter. It was a fun night, had by all. I ended up leaving the party and heading to the Grand for some drinks with friends. My night wasn't so fun!

Here is an example, more can be seen in my photo gallery (click the picture to go there). Sunday, 27 May 2007. So you need to catch the slower trains. Konstanz is only 100km or so away and it took 3 hours. After that we got a paddle boat (the ones you paddle like a bike) and went around the harbour for an hour. I w...

Tobi's Geeky Bloggy Thing. This blog is basically to keep people up to date on my German ongoings. Sunday, 23 September 2007. Last day in Turkey. Up at 9:30am (just woke up… I was running on adrenaline or something), had breakie with Sheena, then got ready to go. Ollie also decided to join us to go see the Topkapi Palace. This palace was where the head of the Ottoman empire was located. It was really impressive. On of the main highlights was the crown-jewels. There was an 86 carrot diamond! Another thing...

http://drtobi.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Tobi's Geeky Bloggy Thing. This blog is basically to keep people up to date on my German ongoings. Tuesday, 20 November 2007. Home Safe and Sound. Just thought I'd give a quick note to everyone that I've made it back to NZ home safe and sound. For anyone traveling, avoid LAX at all costs. It is a stupid airport which has increased my hatred towards the USA. They want you to go through customs (so you are actually leaving the airport) then get your bags, and re-check into your connecting flight. Contiki w...

I have been asked to summarise what I will be doing in Germany. Most people I have talked to have a general idea, so I will just explain it as simply as I can. I am doing my PhD in Computer Vision. When I get back to NZ, I will be using the same software and equipment to continue my project. This will be my life for the next 3-4 years. The main purpose is to keep ...

Tobi's Geeky Bloggy Thing. This blog is basically to keep people up to date on my German ongoings. Thursday, 30 August 2007. Grand Tour of Praha. For those of you wondering, Praha is the local name for Prague. Right today I woke up pretty early considering. I was up and out on the streets by 9am. Today I decided I would do the "Free Walking Tour" and get an overall view of the city. So off to the centre of the Old City to get to the meeting point. Anyway, I would recommend the tour, once again the "Free ...
