Monday, April 27, 2009. It has been nice to actually experience a spring season. In Texas is seems to go from semi-winter to summer. I am glad my dad and step-mom were able to come visit me for a few days while the cherry blossoms were blooming. It was crazy crowded but it was good to play tourist for a few days. Thursday, May 29, 2014. Is it over yet? This has been the longest week - and day - ever. I want chocolate so bad. Do you realize how long it's been since I've had chocolate? It's been nearly a month and I am dyyyyying for some chocolate. It doesn't help that work is throwing me into a near nervous breakdown because things just keep going wrong - I am going to end up in an insane asylum made out of chocolate if this keeps up. Pickled jalepeno peppers- 4 peppers, sliced. Serve with dollops of salsa, sour cream and guacamole, with chopped cilantro sprinkled on top. Serves 8. What is pictured above is a half-recipe.
