Sunday, May 1, 2011. So, Colette did it! She started crawling this afternoon. She still rolls instead sometimes, but she is getting up and crawling! I am SO excited and she is already acting happier. Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Do you take pictures of yourself? I don't. Ever. It just doesn't ever cross my mind to hold out the camera and snap, unless someone else is in the picture with me. But some people asked to see my birthday haircut, and Spencer's shots looked funny to me. Something about the angle. Because he's so much taller than me, maybe? Anyway, I took matters into my own hands. But I just couldn't get it right. Maybe I wasn't taking it seriously enough. Oh there we go. That was hard work!

I think it was a tender mercy from Jesus that when he created the earth he made the lilacs bloom just in time for us to take a big bundle with us when we visit my mom every May 17th.
